Description:This is NOT a contemporary specimen, but rather from about 25 years ago. This piece is loaded with sharp, rather lustrous, orange red, hexagonal blades of Vanadinite sitting atop bladed and massive snow-white Barite matrix. I think most collectors would agree that the best matrix for Mibladen Vanadinites is Barite, and the color contrast in this specimen is great. You don't see many Vanadinites on Barite on the market today. A worthwhile and attractive specimen with some nice quality crystals on highly desirable matrix.
