Description:The Eagle mine is probably best known for its pyritohedral Pyrite specimens. This cluster is a good representative Eagle mine Pyrite showing typical striated pyritohedra with sharp, lustrous faces. At one point there were hundreds of these specimens available, and they are now seldom seen for sale like most classic minerals from Colorado. From the thumbnail collection of Tresa Kosnar (now Tresa Foster). The piece dates back to the 1980s.
