Description:A rarely seen Pyrite specimen from this Gold mine in the western part of Mali. A very sharp, rather lustrous, modified cubic crystal of Pyrite with good form and condition which measures 6 mm sitting smartly on matrix. This is the only Pyrite that I personally have seen from this mine, and is a cool reference specimen for a Pyrite collector, or somebody intested in obscure African mineral specimens. Don't pass this one up.
