Description:A cool Halotrichite specimen from Spain featuring hudreds of micro thin "needles" which are intergrown to create an interesting display piece. The piece actually has an orange color that is not often seen in this material. This species get its name from the Latin word "halotrichum," which in turn is from the older German name Haarsalz (hair salt).
