Description:This specimen was collected in August of 2009 in Bolivia. On a worldwide scale, these are not the finest Pyromorphite specimens, but for Bolivia, they are wonderful unique and interesting specimens. For any of you Pyromorphite collectors out there, this is something that is very rarely offered on the open market. Dozens of good quality, sharp, semi lustrous, green hexagonal crystals of Pyromorphite are associated with NEVER BEFORE SEEN WULFENITE crystals on Sandstone matrix. The Wulfenite crystals are admittedly small, (smaller than 1 mm), but to the best of my knowledge, the crystals on this specimen are some of the first reported Wulfenites from Huari-Huari! I consulted a few friends who confirmed that they had never seen Wulfenite from Huari-Huari previously. Considering that these crystals are truly from Bolivia is what makes them so exciting. I have never seen anything quite like this from any mine in Bolivia. A great "locality" specimen and association specimen for any Pyromorphite collector.
