Description:Discovered in mid 2011, this piece came to me from a Chinese dealer who said he personally obtained the piece from the miner who collected it. I cannot say for certain if I have seen anything quite like this from China, and considering the vast amount of Chinese Calcites on the market from dozens upon dozens of localities, that's saying something. This piece hosts a few rathe sharp, translucent, pale yellow color, hexagonal Calcites which are sitting on notably pink colored Potassium Feldspar matrix. It's certainly interesting, and different from the majority of the Chinese Calcites I've seen from ore deposits. The largest Calcite crystal measures 1.8 cm across. If you're a Calcite collector, or a collector of Chinese minerals, be sure to pick this one up. It's the only one I have to offer, and could possibly be the only one like it available from this locality.
