Description:Berg Aukus is world-renowned for its extraordinary Descloizite specimens. These pieces have set the standard of excellence for this zinc analogue of Mottramite. It is because of Berg Aukus that we know how good Descloizite crystals can actually get. This piece is filled with dozens of tabular, sharp, lustrous, amber brown color, layered crystal groups in "arrowhead"-shaped formations. There is someslight wear on a few of the crystals, but it is still a notable specimen for its crystal quality. Colleted about 40 years ago, from the collection of Richard A. Kosnar. Valued at $950.
