Description:greatA nice micro specimen of prismatic, lustrous, gemmy, pale straw colored, hexagonal Willemite crystals from the famous Franklin mining district in New Jersey. The piece comes from the Pat Gross and remains in Pat's original black plastic micro-mounting box with her hand written label attached. Incidentally, the label states that the piece was collected nearly 50 years ago in 1962! The piece passed to Rich Kosnar in 1991, and remained in his collection until he died. I have photographed the piece under the microscope to better illustrate its quality. For micro collectors, or those who love minerals from Franklin, this is a great opportunity to acquire a cool little specimen with good pedigree for your collection.
