Description:Berg Aukus is world-renown for its extraordinary Descloizite specimens. These pieces have set the standard of excellence for this zinc analogue of Mottramite. It is because of Berg Aukus that we know how good Descloizite can actually get. It has been difficult in my experience to find a Descloizite specimen of this size that's actually in good shape with great aesthetics and crystal quality. This large cabinet size piece is covered with hundreds of tabular, sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy amber brown color, layered crystal groups in rosette-like formations on matrix. There is some wear on a few of the crystals, hence the more reasonable price, but it is still a notable specimen for its sheer size and crystal quality. Valued at $2800.
