Description:Despite the fact that there are only a handful of minerals found at the Elmwood mine, they are among the most recognizable minerals in the world. The classic purple Fluorites are a favorite among collectors, and it's easy to see why. This piece features a few sharp, GEM/gemmy, beautiful purple color, cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 2.5 cm on edge smartly perched atop a matrix of micro Quartz. A classic example of an Elmwood Fluorite. Excellent quality, and the only notable damage is on the back. Very attractive material.
