Description:An aesthetic and rarely seen matrix specimen of Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite from the now famous discovery of 2007 at Milpillas. Although there were many of these specimens available a few years ago, fine quality, undamaged display specimens such as this one were few and far between. There are several, good quality, velvety, dark forest-green crystals (measuring up to 2.1 cm) of Malachite that have altered from Azurite sitting atop a matrix with associated blue-green Chrysocolla and several radiating blue "spheres" of rarely seen Plancheite ! A very nice matrix specimen of this well known material.
