Description:An aesthetic and unique, "pagoda-style", calcite specimen from a find at the Daye Mine in China from 2006. A group of brownish (iron-coated) sharp, scalenohedra of Calcite which are overgrown by a second generation of Hematite-tinted, compressed, hexagonal crystals of Calcite creating crowns on the first generation of Calcites. The piece is very three-dimensional, and can be displayed from several angles. Beautiful crystallization, color and form, and very little damage all the way around.
