Description:This specimen was collected by Richard Kosnar in 1964 when he had just graduated from high school. He had almost exclusive access to the quarry at the time, and was able to collect some very unique and interesting specimens (including some of the most well known Greenockites from the Western Hemisphere) over several years time. This piece is mounted in a small plasitc box, and under magnification, one can see small deep green Chlorite on contrasting Datolite matrix. This specimen is nearly 50 years old, and even though it's a micro specimen, it's a cool piece of history and NJ mineral collecting.
