Description:The Uchucchacua mine has produced some of the finest quality Rhodochrosite specimens around. Their attractive crystals combined with rich pink and red colors make for some beautiful display specimens. This miniature size specimen hosts a few sharp, gemmy, pink-red color scalenohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite which are coated by a thin layer of Quartz to create a pleasing effect. A nice sample of this well known material from Peru.
