Description:Some of the best contemporary Aquamarine specimens are those from Erongo. Not only is the quality superb on many of these Aqua specimens, but the associations can make for some really stellar specimens. This piece features a sharp, bi-color Aquamarine crystal aesthetically flaring out of a group of black Tourmaline "needles" on matrix. I'm told that the Tourmaline on this piece is Foitite, but I have not been able to authenticate this information. The Aqua crystal is essentially damage free and shows a "cat's eye" appearance, which is not terribly common in Beryls. A very good specimen for size, aesthetics and color contrast. Valued at $400 in the inventory
