Description:A wonderful small cabinet display specimen featuring a very sharp, rather lustrous, gemmy, 2.8 cm Smoky Quartz crystal perched nicely on a drusy Amethystine Quartz matrix. These are classics for Australia. But, usually they pop off the matrix, just like Herkimers from New York do, so to get a matrix Mooralla Smoky Quartz is pretty difficult. If you're a Quartz collector, or a collector of aesthetic small cabinet / large miniature display pieces, do not pass this one up. BETTER in person, and good quality to be sure.
