Description:When it comes to Apatite, purple is by far the most desirable color for collectors, due to its rarity. Even places like China have been known to produce purple Apatites. This piece features and fairly sharp, translucent, purple hexagonal crystal of Apatite associated with whitish colored scalenohedra of Calcite plus minor grey / silvery colored Bismuthinite on matrix. If you're a Chinese mineral collector, or if you collect Apatites in general, don't miss out on this one.
