Description:The mines of Spania Dolina are among the most classic copper mining localities in all of Europe, and Chalcophyllite is one of the more sought after species for collectors. A classic specimen of Slovak Chalcophyllite hosting blue-green, bladed, trigonal crystals on matrix. Chalcophyllite is certainly uncommon around the world, and this area produced some of the better known specimens around. Fine specimens of this material are few and far between these days.
