Description:From the recent find a few years ago in China, this piece is loaded with hundreds of sparkling micro Scorodite crystals which vary in color from a metallic blue hue to a slight greenish-blue to a coffee color. The crystals are translucent to gemmy with decent luster and measure up to 5 mm. Upon close inspection, one can see that these Scorodites are actually well crystallized. I have photographed the crystals under the microscope to better illustrate their quality. This find in the Hezhou area is the only significant find of Scorodite to hit the market in a long time. Since the initial discovery of this material, very little has been seen on the market.
