Description:Here is a great old locality specimen of Vivianite from the Siglo XX mine in Bolivia. Subscribers to the Mineralogical Record know that an entire issue was dedicated to this unique and historic locality. This thumbnail size piece features a doubly-terminated, relatively sharp, gemmy, blue green color, prismatic crystal of Vivianite associated with botryoidal Limonite after Wavellite. This material is rarely seen in today's market and this particular specimen is at least 25 years old. A nice little specimen from this world famous locality.
