Description:A richly colored, sharp, lustrous/glassy, gemmy scepter habit crystal of Amethyst from the famous Statesville area of North Carolina. There are a few skeletal or "window" faces on the pyramidal termination, making this a multi-habit crystal. When backlit, the strong purple color is easy to see. Overall, the piece is in decent shape, but not 100% pristine. Some of the faces on the piece are about as lustrous as I have seen from Statesville as well. A good representative specimen from North Carolina.
