Description:This specimen was collected in May of 2009 in Bolivia On a worldwide scale, these are not the finest Pyromorphite specimens, but for Boilvia, they are wonderful unique and interesting specimens. For any of you Pyromorphite collectors out there, this is something that is very rarely offered on the open market. Several good quality, sharp, somewhat lustrous, prismatic, olive-green crystals of Pyromorphite up to 3 mm sit atop an oxidized matrix . Considering that these crystals are truly from Bolivia is what makes them so exciting. I have never seen anything quite like this from any mine in Bolivia. These are very well formed crystals and are only very slightly skeletal or hoppered. A great "locality" specimen for any Pyromorphite collector.
