Description:This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen. This piece features an absolutely beautiful, lustrous, gem quality, emerald green, sword shaped "textbook" crystal of Vivianite with minor metamorphosed Sandstone. These are some of the best quality Vivianite crystals you will see from any locality, hands down. Keep in mind that over 75% of the specimens from this find have had SERIOUS damage problems. This piece is in good shape, but has a contact on the back where it was attached to the matrix. I have never seen specimens of this quality, color, luster and gemminess before, not only from Bolivia, but virtually any world locality. A very nice overall Vivianite specimen from this now well known discovery.
