Description:Many sharp, attractive, very well-formed, classic, tetrahedral Freibergite crystals up to 2.5 mm are associated with well-formed golden crystals of Chalcopyrite and soft pink-beige "rosettes" of Siderite with minor Quartz. This specimen was a gift from the well known Colorado collector Hall Miller to Rich Kosnar in late 1983. This piece was analzyed by Hal Miller, and it is indeed Freibergite, not Tennanite or Tetrahedrite. This material is not easy to find on the market, and for the size and quality, it is much more than just a reference specimen of this highly sought after silver-bearing species.
