Item Description
Lustrous, juicy, hexagonal apple-green pyromorphite prisms, to about 6 mm, are attractively festoned on the large sculptural massive quartz matrix on this rich and very showy example of this varietal from the famed Les Farges Mine. Les Farges is one of the world's great pyromorphite localities, with amazing diversity of crystal form and color. The small mine closed in 1981. Self-collected by Paul Zerfass # 892.
