Amazonite

Item Description

A rich blue-green colored Amazonite crystal from the countless pegmatites in Teller County, Colorado. The accompanying label with the piece states that it's repaired. It has good form and color, but it's not complete and it does have some nicks here and there. Interestingly, the piece shows a vibrant pink fluorescence under UV light, but the color is actually strongest where the color transitions into more of a white hue (in daylight).
