Item Description

An aesthetic mounded miniature cluster of stout, lustrous, camel-brown, hexagonal, vanadinite prisms from Touissit. The compound, paritally hoppered crystals reach about 1.3 cm on this 360-degree cutie. These appeared on the market in the late 1970s as pyromorphite, until X-rayed and microprobed. One side has a preferential oxide coating, but is out-of-sight in the primary display views. A very showy and fine example of the species with multiple display views. None have been found recently. Touissit vannies are FAR less common, that those from famous Mibladen. Ex Harkness Collection.
