Item Description

Sharp, honey-yellow tetragonal scheelite crystals, to 4 mm, richly and attractively course down the center of the small cabinet matrix covered with quartz points and RARE for the locale, sintered-looking siderite rhombs. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 12130 and acquired in the Spring of 1990. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). A very rare combination with excellent scheelites from here. Ghostly white fluorescence.
