Item Description

A classic specimen of the famous Brushy Creek Calcites featuring sharp, well-formed, "dogtooth"-shaped crystals with sharp, lustrous faces (partially coated on one side) and good internal translucence. The largest crystal measures 3.6 cm long. Classic sparkling iridescent Marcasite makes for a great touch. Slight internal "phantoms" can be seen inside some of the Calcite crystals. No real damage that I can see, and the piece is nearly a complete "floater" as it's crystallized near all the way around. From the collection of Sandy and Maureen Ludlum of St. Charles, Missouri.
