Item Description

A hard to find Celestine specimen from the lesser known Amherstburg Quarry in Ontario. A sharp, lustrous, prismatic light blue colored crystal group that is nearly water clear in the center, but has an opaque "feathered" or "cat's eye"-esque termination which is actually dozens of tiny "tooth"-like crystal points at the top. I was fooled when I first saw the piece as I thought it might be a Stoneham Barite, but it's actually more interesting and enticing for what it is. If you collect Canadian minerals or nice display miniatures, don't miss out on this attractive and worthwhile specimen from Ontario.
