Item Description

Gemmy Danburite crystals are a Mexican classic. This a less common cluster of crystals featuring glassy, sharp, lustrous, gemmy to water clear, thin, prismatic, colorless / white crystals with textbook chisel terminations. The largest crystal measures 1.7 cm. A large percentage of the Danburites from Charcas are single crystals or possibly a pair of intergrown crystals, but to have a showy "burst" of crystals like this is rare in my experience. Valued at $600. From the collection of Senator / Dr. Miguel Romero of Teuhuacan, Mexico (Collection #3599).
