Alpine localities are well known for producing superb Epidote specimens, but there are a few "Alpine-type" localities in the Himalayas of Pakistan that produce some great specimens in their own right. This specimen is a sharp, lustrous, well-formed, flattened, beautiful greenish-golden color crystal Epidote that shows slight pleochroism showing different colors when rotated in the light. A good overall specimen of this contemporary classic material with minor rough edges. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
