Item Description

A rich orange-red color, gemmy / translucent, lustrous, well-formed, heavily striated dodecahedral Spessartine crystal measuring 1.2 cm sits beautifully along the side of a very sharp, lustrous, gemmy colorless Quartz crystal. The underside of the piece shows an exposed jet black Schorl Tourmaline, though it's not crystallized. For Garnet collectors, this is an attractive Fe-rich Spessartine specimen, and the pieces from Shengus are among the best red Spessartines in the world. Aesthetic and good quality
