Tourmaline (multi-crystal set)

A wonderful six piece set of multicolor gem quality Tourmalines from Brazil. We picked up this parcel a few weeks ago in the hope that there would be some cutting rough, and it turns out that there were some excellent crystals, so we decided to through them together into a set for the auctions. All of the crystals clearly came out of the same pocket as they have identical color patterning with a slight green termination that gives way to a red "stripe" near the upper portion of each crystal (with a very tiny colorless zone on each side), and finishes with a pleasing green hue throughout the rest of the crystal. The largest crystal measures 1.6 x 0.5 x 0.3 cm and the smallest measures 0.8 x 0.5 x 0.3 cm. Great quality, color, gemminess and luster. A beautiful set for anybody interested in gem crystals, Tourmaline, Brazilian minerals, or perhaps you'd like to pick this up as gift for a child who might have an interest in mineral collecting.
