Item Description

Moroccan Vanadinites simply are the finest examples of the species extant. The best pieces still command a premium on the market, even though specimens are still being found to this day. This piece features dozens of excellent red color, sharp, lustrous, tabular, hexagonal crystals on bladed white Barite. The largest Vanadinite measures about 1.0 cm across. Minor damage here and there, but still showy and eye-catching. A good quality Vanadinite display specimen from this most famous of localities. It should be noted that some of the finest example of Vanadinite are found at Mibladen, but don't let their abundance on the market deter you. One day there will be no more of these specimens available, and like all localities, even the common material increases in value once production stops. This is an older specimen with accompanying labels from Silverado Minerals and Harvey Gordon Minerals.
