Mimetite (ex Bruce J. Murphy Collection)

A great coverage of rich orange to red-orange semi-spherical Mimetite on matrix from the famous mine at Ajo. The crystals look beautiful up close, and I can't find any real damage with the naked eye. The largest individual Mimetite measures about 3 mm cross. Very good condition overall and really eye-catching. Classic material, not easily found on the market these days. The piece comes with a label from the Bruce J. Murphy Collection that states that it purchased from Ed Davis at the 2014 Tucson Show.
