Watermelon Tourmaline (polished slice)

A beautiful polished slice of the famous "watermelon" Tourmaline as you can clearly see the outer green "rind" surrounding the pink interior. Typically we're used to seeing "watermelon" Tourmalines from Brazil, but a contact in Pakistan recently sold us a small parcel of these beautiful polished slices that came out of Afghanistan. A nice thumbnail for any collector of this material. Also a great piece for jewelry / wire wrapping!
