Item Description

When somebody mentions blue Smithsonite, most collectors immediately think of the famous Kelly mine in New Mexico which has produced some of the most oustanding specimens of the species extant. This piece features lustrous/vitreous, soft beautiful blue color aggregates of Smithsonite on matrix. It appears that there are small dots of greenish-blue Rosasite on the piece as well. An eye-catching specimen of this well known old time material.
