This piece is a beautiful, sharp, lustrous, very well-formed, prismatic purplish-blue color Tanzanite. The crystal still exhibits classic pleochroism (purple can be seen when looking across the "b" axis) but due to the thin nature of the piece, it's not incredibly strong. It's a very attractive crystal of one of the most popular gem minerals in the world.
