Item Description

A VERY rarely seen specimen of Skorpionite from the ONLY known locality for the species in the world, the Skorpion Mine in Namibia. The piece is filled with monoclinic whitish crystals sitting on somewhat "fan"-shaped groups of beautifully light blue-green colored Tarburitte on matrix. This migth be the only locality in the world where the Tarbuttite is found in blue-green colored crystals. Very hard to find on the market, and it's really beautiful under the microscope! A perfect piece to add to a rare species collection of a suite of minerals from the type locality.
