Item Description

This is an aesthetic and showy Copper specimen from one of the most historic and classic mining districts in the United States. This piece features a few large, beautiful, sharp, bright Copper crystals in a semi-stacked form with minor Calcite to create an eye-catching display piece. Minor green Epidote and blue-green Malachite(?) are present on the piece as well. The crystals measure up to 3.3 cm at the longest dimension, which is certainly larger than most from this area. The piece has a wonderful bright coppery appearance, and looks great from several angles. These specimens are becoming more and more difficult to find on the market today, and this is a great large cabinet specimen of this highly sought after material from Michigan. Valued at $2,000 in the inventory.
