Item Description

A lovely display specimen from the lesser known Murray Mine (not to be confused with the Meikle Mine) in Nevada. This piece features a generation of Barite that formed in pseudo-rhombic, thick, blocky crystals with soft silvery hue, then a tiny bit of sparkling white Quartz came in (best seen on the reverse side of the specimen). The largest crystal measures 1.1 cm. Minor damage, most crystals are in great shape, and showy from several angles. The piece came from the Sugarbowl Pocket. Valued at $550.
