Item Description

A hard to find association specimen from the famous 79 mine featuring sharp, lustrous, rich orange colored bladed crystals of Wulfenite measuring up to 4 mm forming semi-"rosette" groups on starkly contrasting brownish-black, botryoidal / stalactitic Descloizite on matrix. A great piece for any Arizona collection or a suite of secondary ore minerals. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#2265). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
