Item Description
From this recently exploited skarn zone in inner Mongolia, here we have an attractive Andradite Garnet specimen featuring sharp, lustrous, golden-brown to olive-green color dodecahedra on matrix. The largest crystal measures 1.3 cm across. This area is already known for producing some incredible Ilvaite crystals, and if the Andradites and a few other species improve a little, we will see some very interesting and eye-catching associations. If you're a Garnet collector, be sure to pick one of these up for your collection, as they have seemed to dry up very quickly. Very little damage, and overall an eye-catching specimen from this remote locality in China.
