A fine old-time classic from this famous Oxford County, Maine pegmatite. Fine-grained muscovite variety sericite has pseudomorphed a sharp and sharply terminated schorl crystal. The attached smaller pseudo on the back side and sericite and muscovite matrix are fine accesories to this excellent old-timer. Ex Scott Williams and Dennis Mullane Collections. The Williams label dates from the 1960s or early 70s. Specimens of this quality are seldom on the market today and are very highy desirable.
