exceptional new find of Wavellite (2015)

Sparkly, sea-green, bladed wavellite botryoids, to 1.0 cm, line a sculptural vug on the novaculite matrix plate on this aesthetic specimen from recent finds at Avant. The broken botryoids at the top reveal the hollow interiors and striking radial growth, including yellow, of the wavellites adding much pizzzazz and interest. This is an excellent example with rich color and artistic flare for the locale.
