Item Description

Rinkite-(Ce) is a rare complex REE-Ti silicate with fluorine. Patches of yellow-brown rinkite are scattered on all four sides of the sculptural matrix, most of which, is black arfvedsonite, as rare Amphibole Group species. The rinkite patches reach 1.8 cm. Kangerluarsuk is the Type Locality for both species. The Ilimaussaq complex is a famous unusual alkaline intrusive known as the Type Locality for many very rare species. Combination specimens of this size and richness are RARE. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection. Value? One never sees it for sale, so it is hard to say, but Rinkite is extremely rare!
