Splendent, jet-black, hexagonal gaudefroyite crystals, to about 7 mm, with complimentary lustrous, translucent reddish-orange andradite crystals fill several sculptural vugs on this rich and showy miniature. Gaudefroyite is an ultra rare manganese borate compound with the finest examples of the species coming from the Kalahari. A rare, excellent and rich combination miniature from the Charlie Key dealer stock.
