Item Description

Glassy, gemmy, grayish-green fluorite cubes with waxy luster faces have beautiful violet phantoms and are nicely accented with clusters of oxide-tinted dolomite rhombs on this classic, aesthetic and rich large combination plate from this old fluorite mine. The large cube is 1.5 cm and the interior is pristine on this fine older piece from the Kay Robertson Collection # 3121. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). Purple fluorescence.
