Item Description

This choice and rare combination miniature is covered with splendent, jet-black, hexagonal gaudefroyite crystals, lustrous, translucent reddish-orange andradite crystals and and starkly contrasting sections of yellow ettringite along one edge. Gaudefroyite is an ultra rare manganese borate compound with the finest examples of the species coming from the Kalahari. The crystals reach about 6 mm on this rich and showy piece. A rare, excellent and rich combination miniature from the Charlie Key dealer stock.
